At times, people will come to lost and found to pick their item up without filing a claim. This can be handled on the item dashboard.

Pull up the item by searching or just locate the item. 

Once the item is open, click the purple “Pick Up” button on the right. 

Add the claimants name and email address if you’d like to log the information for your records.

To submit the pick up, click the purple “picked up” button.

If you’d like to print a return form, see below before marking as Picked Up.

Click “Print Return Form” below the claim information.

You should see their name and email already filled in the form.

Print the form, have them fill out the rest of the information, and have them sign and date. 

File the form for proof of pickup.

Then, click “Picked Up”. 

If someone calls or shows up and their item is in your inventory, you can create a claim for that item from the item view.

Have the item pulled up.

Click ‘Create Claim’ next to ‘Pick Up’.

Fill out information

Click ‘Create Claim’.

This will take you to the claim where you can move forward with next steps.

When looking at an item, you can see all claims filed on that specific item.

Scroll to the bottom of the Item Details. There, you will see ‘Matched Claims’. 

To see more about the claim, click ‘Expand’.

There, you can see the claim information and can accept, reject, and unmatch the claim.

Unmatching the claim will remove it from the item, but not reject the claim,
