At times, claimants will file more than one claim for one time. They might do this because they are worried, want a faster response, file in different categories, etc.

Because of this, you are able to merge claims to make going through claims faster and more efficiently. Merging claims also decreases the number of automatic emails the claimant will receive, eliminating the chance for confusion.

If you are in a claim, you can see how many claims that person has filed. Under the claimant’s name, you will see ‘Manage [claimants name]’s Claims’ in purple with a number.

That number is the number of claims they have filed. Click the text and it will take you to all of their claims.

You can click through each claim and see if they are for the same item or not.

If there are claims for different items, we recommend leaving them separate so you can be sure to check for each item. You can match each claim to an item if you have multiple, then merge the claims so you can send all the items in one shipment.

To merge, either click the checkbox next to the ‘Actions’ dropdown, or individually check each claim you want to merge.

Once you have selected all the claims you want to merge, click the ‘Actions’ dropdown and select ‘Merge.’

If you want to see details of one of the merged claims, click the red ‘Expand’ text next to the merged claim details.

There will be one ‘Primary Claim’ all the other claims were merged into. You can see all the other claims listed within the claim. The primary claim will be whichever claim is furthest along.

If you merge unmatched claims with a matched claims, they will be merged into matched.

If you merge unmatched and matched claims with an accepted claim, the claims will be merged into the accepted claim.

If you merge unmatched, matched, and accepted claims into ready for pickup, the claims will be merged into the ready for pickup claim.

If you merge unmatched, matched, accepted, and ready for pickup claims with claims with shipping information sent, the claims will merge into the shipment claim.

If there is a rejected claim when you merge, all claims will be rejected. Even if you have an item ready to be shipped and it is merged with a rejected claim, the claim will be rejected so be sure you are merging correctly.

If you want to separate the claims, click ‘Unmerge’ to the right of the merged claim details.
