Snapit App

The Snapit app allows you to upload lost and found item inventory easily and quickily. You can use the app to take pictures of the items, log details, and upload. Once uploaded, they will move to the queue for approval. Once approved, they will be posted to the public page. 

Log into the app using your account information. 

Make sure you allow the app access to your camera by clicking OK when prompted.

If your account has multiple venues, make sure you are in the desired venue by checking the name in the top bar of your screen. If it is not the right venue, click it and choose the correct venue from the list.

Use your camera to take a photo of an item to log it. Make sure it is centered and focused. Push the blue button to take your photo. 

If you need flash, make sure the lightning bolt next to the blue button is yellow. 

When you’re happy with the photo, choose a category from the bottom by scrolling to the left. 

Once you select the category, you can type in the rest of the details. 

  • Title: this will appear under the photo on your public-facing lost and found page.
  • Description: this will appear when a customer clicks on an item to see details.
  • Internal notes: these are only seen by employees when logged into the software.
